  • The alternative left out of the "Lord, Liar, Lunatic" argument (well, one of the alternatives) is that Jesus was just a moral teacher, but his later followers made up the miracles, the resurrection, and his claims to be God. I find this pretty likely. But why, then, was he crucified?
